Oh, just look at what I got in the mail today!!!

I have been waiting for this to come…and it’s finally here!  Last month I entered a giveaway on The Healthy Apron’s site and was thrilled to find out that I was one of the 4 winners.  Now, I’ve had my eye on a Magic Bullet for some time, but have held off on purchasing one. (for lack of room for any more objects for the kitchen)  And because of my resilience & patience I have been rewarded with a portable one!  (could this be classified as one of those “good things that come to those who wait”?)

This little guy has a base that gets charged…and then it’s up to you on where you finally put it to use.  We’re talking trips on the road, to the beach, the park, tailgating…even camping!  This wonderful little marvel is able to bring blender capability right to a campsite.  I love it!  Then again, I love any new gadget I can get my hands on for the kitchen.  PLUS it even comes with a little recipe book!  And I’m definitely going to have to try the S’mores Smoothie recipe!  (when I’m done losing the weight)

Tomorrow morning I think I’m going to go into the backyard and make a smoothie…just because I can.
